Production Planner for the Future of Vessels in Karlskrona
Our client in Karlskrona is now looking for you who want to be a vital part of the development of future vessels. Here you will have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking new construction and modernization projects, where your expertise bridges the gap between design and production in a dynamic environment.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Production Planner, you will be a key player in cross-functional teams, collaborating with engineers, purchasing, design, and production staff. The role involves working on both new construction and modernization projects of vessels, contributing to the collaboration between design and production. This is a consulting assignment with a start date in February and an end date of 2026-08-31.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
In the role of Production Engineer/Planner, you will optimize production processes and ensure efficient execution. Your tasks include technical calculations, development of construction methodology, creation of production aids, and preparation of manufacturing documentation for complex vessel projects.
- Perform production calculations.
- Develop construction methodology and assembly sequence, including geometric securing.
- Assess make/buy for components.
- Produce production aids and fixtures.
- Conduct design analyses.
- Prepare work orders for manufacturing documentation.
- Plan for efficient production execution.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Have a degree in mechanical engineering, marine design, or equivalent experience from the professional field.
- Possess good communication and presentation skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Have a natural initiative and a desire to take ownership of your contributions.
- Exhibit humility and perseverance to continuously improve and develop the business.
- Have a strong technical interest and a curious approach.
It is advantageous if you have
- Experience from the marine industry, process, or manufacturing industry in steel, machining, or surface treatment.
- Experience with large-scale, complex development projects and operations.
- Experience in technical project management or coordination within process or product development.
- Knowledge of design and preparation of production documentation.
